2020년 5월 현재 나는 여차 저차 하여 캐나다에 머물고 있지만 알만한 사람은 다 알듯이 영어권 국가에 있다고 영어 말하기가 그냥 늘지 않는다. 특히 나같은 40대 아재에게 시간이 지날수록 외국어 공부 특히 말하기란 더욱 넘사벽처럼 느껴진다. 가끔 유치원다니는 딸의 버터 발린 영어 발음을 듣으면 더욱... 특히 요즘처럼 집에만 있는 시기에는 오히려 모국어인 한국어까지 어눌해지기 마련인데, 다행히 최근엔 유튭에 좋은 영어 컨텐츠가 많아 기회를 찾고 노력한다면 그래도 조금씩 늘지 않을까 믿어본다. 외국어 말하기는 능력이 아닌 기술이니 말이다. 그중에서 내가 제일 좋아하는 영어 말하기 관련 유튭 채널은 일명 빨간 모자 선생님 '라이브 아카데미'인데 어쩜 내가 말하고 싶은 것만 골라서 알려주시니 감사할 따름이..
